Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from across the island took part in this year’s Jamboree on the Trail (JOTT).
Beavers completed a leg of the Beaver Three Leg Challenge walking from St. John to Peel along the Heritage Trail.
Meanwhile the Cubs hiked to Laxey Beach from the Bungalow.
The Scouts of 5th Douglas also started at the Bunalow. After hiking to the summit of Snaefell for lunch, they hiked down to Laxey Beach for ice cream.
Scouts, leaders and parents from ‘Viking’ Troop, 1st Malew Scout Group and Explorers from ‘Wolf Pack’, Southern Explorers did the 2015 Jamboree On The Trail by doing a ‘walk with a purpose’. The purpose was walking a mile of beach and foreshore between Castletown and Derbyhaven clearing rubbish washed up by the tide. You can read more here.
